The present volume conatains more than 300 designs in b/w and 16 color plates of native origin, based on cross-stitch motifs.

Many of them were created for country style knits.

They reflect the world of peasant art, which shows natural symbols and emblems, stylised into an expressive world of folk art.

Abstract designs of flowers, leaves, animals and heraldic symbols take precedence of the creative palette.

Originally these motifs were destinated for cotton/indigo prints, for knitted wear & goods as well as for embroidered fabrics.

All designs in the books are available with digital support on the included free DVD-ROM - TIFF/JPEG + EPS Format (Vectorgraphic).

The motifs are ready-to-use and all copyright-free.
